Shine – Goldsmiths’ Centre
Shine is an annual exhibition showcasing new talent in gold and silversmithing, held at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London. We were asked to create a contemporary identity for the exhibition that would attract larger visitor numbers and a different demographic to previous years.

The identity we developed was inspired by the raw materials of the work and the elements of gold and silver, specifically the arrangement of elements in the periodic table. The new logo established a recognisable “S” mark for the show which also incorporated the date to be included for continuation into the following years events.

The exhibition graphics were designed to make best use of existing display cabinets at the venue. Bold, angular coloured sections were printed on uncoated stock to give texture, and placed under glass cut to fit the displays, whilst exhibitor information was printed on large vinyl sections and applied to panels inside the venue.

After the successful launch of the new identity in 2018, were asked to produce the materials for the 2019 event and continue to work on Shine annually.
